感覚のメカニズムの可視化
人が建築や環境に身を置いた時、何を捉え、どのように行動していくのでしょうか。それは、人によって違い、共有し難しいものです。
「人の認知・感覚」という捉えどころのないような事象から、建築を見直してみることで、新たに浮かび上がる建築像を模索し、映像作品にしました。
模型のある建築の展示が、俯瞰的に建築を覗き込むことを可能にしたのであれば、これらの映像による展示は、人がどのように建築を感じて行動しているのか、体験者の知覚の一部を垣間見ることを可能にします。
Visualizing the Mechanism of Perception
When people find themselves within architecture or an environment, what do they perceive and how do they act? These experiences can vary greatly from person to person and are often difficult to share. By revisiting architecture from the elusive phenomena of human cognition and perception, we have explored new architectural visions and transformed them into video works.
While architectural models enable an overhead view into the structure, these video exhibitions allow us to glimpse how people perceive and interact with architecture, offering a window into the experiential aspects of their perception.
